Twas the week before Christmas, accomplishments were clear
as Rachel looked back at the 2020 year.
The stockings had been hung by the chimney with care
in hopes that Christina and Jon would be there.
The family wore pajamas and Violet blew a kiss
while visions of sugar cookies danced with great bliss.
I think of Mom with her chip bags as Trick-or-Treats
and don't forget the Welcome Party where we crossed the street.
When out came the pumpkins, two families did sit
and a blonde older sister directed with whit.
Cousins came out to gaze at the river
where a picturesque covered bridge really delivered.
From the Plaza in summer, to Syracuse in Fall
this little group has been through it all.
From sandbox brothers, to grill master dads
nothing this year could make me more glad.
Don't forget all of the creatures I've made
for the five lucky Facebook winners who responded and played.

What a year it has been, hope the future is bright
Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good night!
